Caricature Pricing & Order Process
Step 1: Place The Order Via PayPal
Do you want to order a group caricature with more than 10 subjects? The rate is $50 for the first subject plus $30 for each additional subject in the group. Email us to arrange payment for a group caricature of larger than 10 subjects...or simply PayPal us the amount to our PayPal email that appears below in "Step 2".
If you want a detailed object included in your caricature - such as a pet, car, boat, plane, or building - it will count as an additional subject in your caricature. Please ensure you send us a photo of it as well.
Step 2: Contact Us With Details & Photo(s)
Upon successful completion of the payment via PayPal please send your photo(s) and instructions to the email address that appears above. We want jpg photo files that clearly show the face or object and are in focus. Whatever expression the subject wears will be the expression rendered, therefore you may want to send us smiling photos. Also please inform us of any features that don't appear on the photos (freckles, scars, eyes or hair color , etc.) that you want included in the caricature....or features that you do not want to appear (double chins, fading hairline). Finally, let us know what you want to be wearing, body type and position - for example - "I am skinny and want to be posed swinging from a vine in a leopard skin / Tarzan style".
Step 3: Wait Patiently
Your order will be put into our artist's queue on a first come first served basis. Typically, the caricature will arrive via email within 7 "business days"; however, it can take longer depending on the time of year and the size of your caricature. Our pool of highly talented caricature artists is limited and their dance cards fill quickly. The point is to order and be patient.
Step 4: Laugh Out Loud, Grin Ear To Ear,
Jump Up & Down, Show Friends!
Finally, you know what you would look like if you made the cover of Mad Magazine. After the feeling of euphoria has subsided a bit simply upload your file at a place like Cafe Press and start ordering your caricature on a wide range of products: t-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, buttons - for yourself, clients, friends, family and the paper boy.
Caricature Revisions???
The caricatures are hand done (not digital) so only minor revisions are possible. We can use PhotoShop after the initial caricature to do stuff like change eye color, take out wrinkles, add some hair... We cringe when people come back with requests such as - "Can you now redraw it with my hair up, head tilted upwards - in a van Gogh style?"...or "Can I send you a different photo of myself"...or "I think my head is too large in proportion to my body". The caricatures are produced from what you initially provide us with - photo & instructions. EXTENSIVE REVISIONS COUNT AS NEW ORDERS!!
