
Joan Marie Larkin was born on September 22, 1958 in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Better known as Joan Jett she is an singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. A highly accomplished musician with eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles - including "Crimson and Clover", "I Hate Myself for Loving You", "Do You Want to Touch Me", "Bad Reputation" and the cover of "I Love Rock N' Roll"...a rock anthem. A true veteran of the rock music who started out as a founding member of The Runaways at the age of 15. After The Runaways disbanded in 1979 she went to to form her own record label as well as her current band the Blackhearts. Joan Jett has been an inspiration for generations of female rockers.
